Psychotherapy

I offer psychotherapy

I offer psychotherapy for individuals who are interested in personal development, self-exploration, finding meaning and direction in life.

I support clients facing challenges in their professional and educational lives, including burnout, bullying, stress-related situations, and questions around work-life balance, as well as difficulties in family and relationship contexts.

Clients often come to therapy with concerns such as:

  • Depression, lack of motivation, or low energy
  • Anxiety, panic attacks, and social anxiety
  • Past traumatic experiences that still affect the present
  • Difficult or life-shaping decisions
  • Life transitions such as separation, divorce, infidelity, loss, or relocation
  • Challenges in managing different roles in life
  • Low self-esteem and reduced self-confidence

What is psychotherapy and how can it help?

Psychotherapy is a process that supports people in dealing with psychological and psychosomatic difficulties without medication. It offers a space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviour in a structured and supportive way.

The aim of psychotherapy is to improve well-being, strengthen inner stability, enhance relationships, and support personal growth. Sessions usually take place once or twice a week and are oriented toward individual needs, resources, and goals.

What is Existential Analysis?

Existential Analysis is a psychotherapeutic method that aims to help individuals lead a meaningful life by freeing them from psychological issues like anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. This approach focuses on understanding emotions, making authentic choices, and living responsibly. Through dialogue, biographical exploration, and emotional analysis, Existential Analysis helps individuals shape their lives with freedom and purpose, aiming for a fulfilling and “whole” existence.

Beyond Existential Analytical Therapy

My work is grounded in Existential Analysis, which provides the foundation of my therapeutic approach. At the same time, I deeply value the richness that comes from therapeutic diversity and the uniqueness of each person who comes to me, and therefore, through continuous professional development and an open, curious therapeutic attitude, I integrate elements from various therapeutic approaches. This allows me to adapt interventions and techniques sensitively to the individual needs, goals, and expectations of each person, and to create a therapeutic process that is personal, supportive, and effective.

How does an initial consultation work?

In our first meeting, you’ll have the chance to experience how I work and see if it feels like a good fit for you. The connection between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful progress, and I want you to feel comfortable and supported from the start. This is a safe space to share your concerns, and together we’ll create a nurturing environment that meets your needs and allows us to work effectively, free from distractions.

How do regular therapy sessions work?

Regular therapy sessions provide a consistent and reliable space for therapeutic work. Each session lasts 50 minutes, including 45 minutes of therapy and 5 minutes for closing the session and scheduling the next appointment. This structure helps create continuity while allowing time for reflection and integration.

For the best therapeutic outcome, it is generally recommended to meet once or twice a week on a regular basis, as continuity supports depth, stability, and progress in the therapeutic process. At the same time, therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Different life situations, capacities, and needs require flexibility, and the frequency of sessions can be adjusted together over time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, this is possible up to 48 hours in advance without charge. Cancellations made later are charged in full, as the reserved time cannot be reassigned.

After each session, you will receive an honorary invoice (Honorarnote) with the relevant payment details.
